Over the weekend at the Providence Events Centre-Trade Fair, one of the city’s beautiful love stories was written at a beautiful ceremony that left witnesses with endless smiles of goodwill and admiration —the highly-anticipated nuptial between Maxwell Krobea Asante and friend of 4 years, Randa Okine. For many of the guests who gathered at the Rev. Theophilus Cofie —officiated event with support from Rev Theophilus Addy and Rev Isaac Tettey, it came as an unsurprising chapter in an iconic romance as, they are all witnesses to the beautiful love story which has been brewing for the past years. The couple, shimmering in wine, white, and black, declared their commitment to this life long journey in the presence of family, friends, the Vice-President of Ghana, H.E Mahamudu Bawumia and other very important dignitaries like Hon. Pius Enam Hadzide(Dep Minister of Youth and Sports), Francis Asenso-Boakye (Dep Chief of Staff), Michael Okyere Baafi (CEO, Ghana Freezones Authority), Alfred Thompson (Dep MD of NIB), Lydia Atiemo (Dep CEO of YEA), Mustapha Ussif (Executive director of National Service Secretariat), Gifty Oware (Dep Director, National Service Secretariat), Eugene Arhin (Director of Communication at the Presidency), Bright Acheampong (Dep CEO, NYA), Rocky Obeng (Dep CEO, NYA), Sammi Awuku (National Organizer, NPP) and other esteemed personalities. “Our wedding, with the love and support from our families and everybody else, was a true fairy tale. It was beautiful and i would like to use this opportunity to thank each and every one who came to show us love.I appreciate the love shown.All i can say is May God continue to protect me and my gorgeous wife Randa.” says Krobea whose wedding has become a topic for discussion on social media with loads of congratulatory messages flooding on the couple’s Facebook walls.
