Dalvin Cook is a talented American football player currently serving as the starting running back for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on August 10, 1995, in Miami, Florida.

Cook attended Miami Central High School, where he excelled as a football player.

During his high school career, he rushed for over 4,200 yards and scored an impressive 64 touchdowns.

His outstanding performances on the field caught the attention of college recruiters across the nation.

Following his successful high school career, Cook decided to play college football at Florida State University.

During his time with the Florida State Seminoles, he showcased his exceptional skills and became one of the top running backs in the country.

In his freshman year, Cook rushed for 1,008 yards and earned the ACC Rookie of the Year award. He continued to impress in his sophomore and junior seasons, finishing with a combined total of over 3,400 rushing yards and 38 touchdowns.

Despite concerns about a shoulder injury, the Minnesota Vikings selected him in the second round with the 41st overall pick.
