Wynonna Judd is a popular American country music singer and songwriter.
Wynonna first rose to fame as part of the mother-daughter duo The Judds, which she formed with her mother in the 1980s.
She was born on May 30, 1964, in Ashland, Kentucky, and is the daughter of country music singer Naomi Judd.
As The Judds, they achieved great success with hits such as “Mama He’s Crazy”, “Why Not Me”, and “Grandpa (Tell Me ‘Bout the Good Old Days)”, among others.
The duo won five Grammy Awards and eight Country Music Association Awards before disbanding in 1991 due to Naomi’s diagnosis of Hepatitis C.
