Musician Offset who was formerly a member of the Migos Group has disclosed that contrary to the perception that members of the group were brothers, he has no blood relations.
He says that even though the story was sold so well, they were never people bonded by blood like the world was made to believe.
Offset indicated in an interview with Variety that he only became friends with Quovo and Takeoff in school and their bond grew since then.

Offset says he went to school with Quavo and didn’t start hanging out with Qua’ and Take’ until middle school, specifically in the 6th grade.
However, Quavo is Takeoff’s uncle, but that is apparently where the familial bond with the group stops.
Offset is set to release his solo album and has hinted that a song he recorded with Takeoff will be on the album.
