The black rapper who is a father of two was sentenced to six years in prison due to his involvement issues relating to drugs.
The rapper was arrested in 2021 and was charged with drug possession with the intention to distribute.

According to reports, Fetty and his Lawyers did not deny the charges but rather provided a reason why Fetty Wap resorted to selling drugs.
His Lawyer explained that Fetty Wap is a generous man and when the pandemic affected his income streams, he had to resort to selling of drugs to cater for people who depend solely on him.
